Says estimated ship date is the 11th but UPS sent me an email saying I have a package coming tomorrow. That was very fast. Can't wait to get this hooked up.
PhriarI'll keep my fingers crossed for you (and myself by extension), but doesn't MassDrop usually use FexEx not UPS for their shipments?
Maybe the ones that don't necessarily come in from overseas or require extensive sorting (which account for most of my drops) don't come through MassDrop headquarters and are up to the item's provider?
billnyeI don't have anything else on order from anywhere and the package weight is correct for the weight of this so I'm guessing I was close enough to where the retailer was shipping them from they just shipped it to me. I'm in michigan so idk where the Yamaha retailer selling these is in relation to my location.
Edit: Says it's from Deal Partners, LLC.
0__0Yep, I had a missed delivery today from a Deal Partners location near-ish to ME (and a dawdling UPS driver so that I was unable to pick it up at UPS directly today). I should be playing with my new Yamaha tomorrow some time too :)
PhriarMine's certainly sounding better than my newish LG B7A TV was by itself for sure... added receiver plus a pair of C Note speakers ( https://www.parts-express.com/c-note-mt-bookshelf-speaker-kit-pair-with-knock-down-cabinets--300-7140 ) plus a couple speakers sitting on top of those that I'm experimenting with Atmos / DSP effects. Next will be a center channel and maybe a sub :)
I have an android phone and I've been using the app called "AV controller" (search the play store for Yamaha, then pick that one) as a remote, definitely handier than using the dedicated remote in situations where the on-screen menus aren't going to be visible (in TV-based streaming apps when the audio is coming back over ARC for example).
