CliffCriHope it's not too late, but they're terribly flat. They're perfect for tracking while mixing music or sound, but their bass response is minimal. Not ideal for casual listening.
I advise you don't shop for near-field studio monitors if you just want to listen to music, unless you want to compare mixes to your own projects.

djjsutDefinitely not too late djjsut. Thank you for your comment. I'll tick this one out then... Yea I'm only going to use it for casual listening. Mostly while in front of computer or need to watch quick clips over the internet.

My candidates are: H5 - Flat sound - a bit wider than Presonus 4.5 Presonus 4,5 - A bit smaller than H5 JBL - Good for listening to music - Quite big - Requires to be positioned further from the wall
My worry on these H5s are that they are too flat for music listening. Anyone compare this with the Presonus e4.5? Like JBL, does H5 or Presonus requires to bit further from the wall to be good? What is the recommended distance from the wall?
