Good price! $100 less than Guitar Center. I've had these for a long time and they are very good "studio monitors" (I used them for mixing and mastering music using Logic Pro). However, I don't think they're very good for everyday listening, just because they are so "faithful" and "flat," meaning little scooping of the mids, boosting the bass and treble, etc. that you get from speakers designed for listening.
You'll pick up a very faithful reproduction of the music, but it probably won't sound as lively and full as you might be used to. Just a heads up!
