Yamaha HS8 Monitors are your beginner studio monitors, if you get serious you may look into finding a pair of NS-10M monitors and a Bryston amp, genelec , Adam, Focal , Barefoot sound, etc. but most importan is room design if your in a bedroom go with these. going for an actual studio and have the budget go with the others. if you want speakers that are beautiful speakers to listen to go with focals's home or car audio speakers as they are probably one of the best natural speaker cone designers out there.
