Featuring Yamaha’s latest transducer technology, the HS8 is built with a 1-inch tweeter that delivers clear and undistorted sound up to 30 kHz. To cover the low end, there’s an 8-inch woofer designed in parallel with the overall enclosure to provide an unblemished and fully booming low end. For one last extra touch, the HS8 boasts a specifically designed bass-reflex port that reduces unwanted vibrations generated from the magnet to the edge of the speaker.

Should you need to adjust the HS8 to better fit your tunes or room, you can head to the back of the monitor and fiddle with the equalization switches. With the High Trim switch altering the high frequency response and the Room Control switch changing the low-frequency response, you have the ability to alter the output to better fit your room’s acoustics.
