SeelenNot meaning to disparage Yamaha, I own a Yamaha receiver as well, and it still works well 20 years on. I just need to replace my Pioneer 7.2, that's a few generations old as it doesn't support the current surround codecs (or maybe it does and I just need to update it, but prefer to get a new one, to have a better device, and I wouldn't complain if they only offered a Yamaha Aventage RX-A2070 instead of a Pioneer SC-LX701 or a Marantz SR-7011, all 9.2 with the latest firmware updates. All I'm asking is for someone to help me spend my money.
