If nothing else, it is really pretty. I wonder if its worth while to mod it into a full blown headphone amp?

WildChinoiseit's not an amp and not going to be simple to just add an amplifier stage. it's a buffer as others have said here, so it's basically a unity gain preamp stage. If you want a really cheap HP tube amp to play with , just go buy the nobsound for $50 on amazon.
