I received mine from my middleman this day, and the sound at first from my Smartphone was anemic in the bass (or not bass) and very brittle but with good midrange. I am now listened to them 2 hours after and they have improved in the bass (i put the full foam), mids and treble. The soundstage and image is excellent for earbuds [as good as my full size headphones (Shure srh-940 and others modded)]. They improved too with an dac and amp. The midbass isn´t very strong/boomy, but the upperbass is strong. The details are increible too. They are the Y cord version
