How much discontinued backstock can a company have? The drop early in the year was supposed to be limited since the model was discontinued. Guess someone found a utility closet with a few more cases of them :)

RochambeauxAlright, so I'm walking through the warehouse eating spaghetti minding my own business when suddenly I trip on a Mountain Dew can. I manage to keep my balance but unfortunately my spaghetti goes everywhere. Thank goodness no one was around to see it. While I'm kneeling down scooping the spaghetti back onto my plate I faintly see the outline of something on the far wall of the warehouse that I've never seen before. "Is that a door?"
I get up from the warehouse floor and slowly walk over to the door that seems to have materialized from thin air. As I approach I notice there's a faint glow being emitted from the edges of the frame seemingly coming from what lies on the other side. I gently push the door with my free hand and, to my surprise, it opens with ease as if beckoning for me to come inside.
As I walk past the threshold my entire field of view is filled with blinding white light, as though I'm peering into the sun. I squint and continue walking with trepidation, but curiosity has consumed me. As my eyes adjust and pupils constrict I manage to take in my surrounding. I see boxes upon boxes with Kanto branding on them. "No... could it be?" I place my plate of spaghetti on a stack of boxes, pick up a parcel and closely examine the writing on it. "Y-U-M-I-"
I immediately drop the box and scurry backwards away from what I just witnessed. In a panic, I run out of the magical room and back into the warehouse. I see a co-worker and incoherently shout "YUMI! THERE'S YUMI IN THE MAGIC ROOM! A DOOR APPEARED OUT OF NOWHERE, WE HAVE SOME LEFT! MASSDRO-" I get cut off by my co-worker "Dude that door's been there since we moved in here, we just put the YUMI's we got back from our distributors in there. Also, are you going to eat that spaghetti I saw you drop earlier?"

Just because we can be a bit silly online doesn't mean we don't care about customer support! We ran some YUMI drops earlier in the year and they mostly consisted of stock in the US, distributors and Amazon, etc. We got a bunch of that stock back at our Canadian warehouse and are running this drop which is now open to Canadians (the last two were not) . Depending on how many YUMI's we sell here we might have some units left over or we might actually run out of stock this time.
*EDIT: The comment I was responding to was deleted in case anyone was wondering

I actually enjoyed the light hearted reply. As far as customer support, when i read that the previous drop was only available in the States, I called the factory and they were really helpful and got me the product through the Drop despite me being in Canada. To all, this is a good company that seems to care about their customers.

KantoLivingThat had me losing my spaghetti. :D I say stories of similar nature when talking to anyone. Online not so much. So thank you for writing that out. What a swing.
