To ensure stable video, the drone is outfitted with a precision crafted 3-axis gimbal, which can also be removed for ground missions. A dedicated button on the controller allows you to take 12-megapixel photos with ease, while the zero-distortion-lens prevents the curved look of video playback found on other drone cameras.

With the Typhoon, capturing professional quality footage is easier than ever. Follow Me mode automatically detects your location and tracks your movement wherever you go—as the first drone to incorporate elevation changes, you can even track steady footage as you go up and down in altitude. Stay focused on the task at hand with Watch Me mode, which automatically directs the camera at the target and keeps it in frame at whatever angle you desire. If you ever start to lose signal, let autopilot take over or command your drone to return home with the push of a button. Plus, the No-Fly Zone feature ensures your drone isn’t flying too high, too far from the target, or too close to commercial airports.
Personal Drone HQ
The Personal Ground Station features a 5.5-inch LCD display that provides a live feed of the Typhoon’s video capture along with keeping track of real-time telemetry data, flight modes, altitude, speed, distance from home, GPS positioning, and more. If that’s not enough, you can also manually control your video resolution, white balance, and light exposure for different scenarios and lighting conditions.
Hit The Ground Running
Created with a modular design, the Typhoon’s 4K camera can be detached and mounted to the included SteadyGrip apparatus for 4K footage in the palm of your hand. The SteadyGrip, along with the CGO3 mobile app, provides 3-axis gimbal stabilization and a live view of your video capture while filming from the ground. You can even control the camera’s pitch and angle with smartphones up to 6.4-inches display size (must have 5.8 GHz technology).
