Pretty awesome drone, the 4K is fantastic.
I tested this drone a couple of weeks ago for a few hrs and it was quite the experience, maybe I can share some attributes of the device.
Range - In a wide open, flat-land area I was about to get the drone roughly ~1700ft away before the video feed to the controller started to get a little laggy and at some points become unresponsive. Which is a really uncomfortable feeling, when your controller screen goes black and you cannot spot the drone that far out. There may be some sort of "Find Home" feature if it loses connection for too long, but not that I experienced as I was meddling with it.
Height - I was only able to get it about ~200-300ft vertical climb before the controller warned me that I was exceeding the limit, and then the drone started to come back down.
Durability - This is the only real drone I've used, so I don't have a lot to compare it to. The build is strong, but the aircraft also has to remain extremely lightweight. Luckily it's fastest speed is about 12.5MPH ~/~ 20.1KPH, so even if I ran it into an object at a fast speed, the damage would probably be fairly minimal. (I did at one point end up unintentionally doing this and only two of the props cracked/broke, the frame received no visible damage and the props were easily replaced.)
Battery Life - Flight time is about 15-20 min depending I'm sure on how fast and how much you're moving. I did look around online and find some higher capacity batteries that will add 2-5min, but nothing worth paying a few more hundred dollars for.
Camera - The 4K camera is awesome, crystal clear quality while reviewing some footage on a 4K screen. Unless you have a 4K screen, cannot recommend getting the 4K camera... It looks not so great on a 1080P screen. The pictures come out pretty solid as well, unfortunately it ONLY supports MicroSD, so pull out that memory card from your phone, because why use a digital format that actual cameras and camcorders use when you can use your easy to find, large data......... Micro SD.........
Current Status - I've heard the drone is in the shop, the owner said he went to turn it on one day and nothing happened, after a few hrs on the phone with tech support they had him mail in the drone for repair. That was about a month ago, and he still does not have the drone back. Support may not be ideal.
Price - Everybody has their own opinions on price, but if I was going to buy this drone, after playing around with it, I don't think I could justify spending more than $600-$700. Until then, this is a no-buy for me.
