Can anyone compare the smoothness of these to box red or box black? Every time I try a new switch it's never as smooth or as nice as the box switches ... (yes I'm aware these are silent and the box are not)

lifeisaburritoReviews didn’t seem very positive. Scratchy, leathery, etc. Have you tried them and compared them to a box red? Did you mod/lube them at all?

Hari_SeldonNathan Kim has said he tried the revised ones and the leathery feeling is completely gone. He really likes them now.

swirle13I have tried them in peson just about a week ago at Columbus Mech Meetup, that NovelKeys were attending. They were probably the smoothest (on par with Vintage Blacks) keys there.

lifeisaburritoThanks for the feedback. I'm typing on box reds right now, and can't imagine a smoother unmodded stock switch. I guess I'll have to try the cream switches and see for myself!!
