Does anyone have any experience with trying to fit these on a keyboard with LEDs facing north? The website says "For optimal compatibility with various keycap profiles, Zealencio silencing clips should be used with keyboards that have the switch LED facing South (user side). "
floatingskullI had them on my Anne Pro (Gateron Browns) for a while which has north-facing LEDs. As long as you line up the LED slots there's no problems fitting the clip on. The reason it is more compatible with south-facing LEDs is because of how keycaps fit around the clip. In my experience with north-facing LEDs, the keycaps and clips weren't quite coming together correctly. I don't have any uniform keycaps to test, but OEM profile is definitely affected. I don't have the motivation to test on a full board of Cherry profile.
Anyway, the fit was enough of a problem on my Anne Pro that I removed them to put on some other board in the future.
floatingskullFrom reading in the comments further it appears that this (problem) pertains to cherry mx switches, not so much gaterons browns as in my whitefox. I have also heard about non-compatibility with cherry mx blues a while back.
