dchenYes. PVD isn't very durable when it comes to everyday environments. No "black" coating is really durable; I personally get all my watches in regular SS finish to avoid that.
MeowmixingI think exactly the same. Most likely than not scratches will also look a lot noticeable. At least with Silver it's some what disguised. Would you recommend this watch over the LG G Watch R? the 11mm thickness is what's turning me off about this watch.
pixllActually have, Mr. Poor Assumptions. It's called... same results, just a slightly longer period of looking better. If I wanted a watch that aged well with time, then I'd stick with bronze.
MeowmixingIf you're managing to scratch DLC, then you're doing something wrong. If you did the same thing to a bronze watch, it'd look like a battlefield. If you're actually damaging the coating, chances are you either work with ceramics or something where you might expose your watch to large impacts which are capable of deforming the bonded underlying steel itself. If you're not, it's more likely you're rubbing thing off on it, and that can be easily resolved by just cleaning it off.
