So the Samsung Qi charger I have is 5V, 2A (10W). This one results in slightly higher W but due to higher 9V voltage. You can do that?.. Isn't there an overheating risk and potential to significantly lessen the better life (this would be for use with the S8)?

Typhoon859Apparently it's smart enough to talk it your phone to understand what rate to charge at.

TheRealDanielThanks, I mean, I guess it could be trusted, but from what I understand it doesn't have variable voltage, so that still confuses me. One of the first and most important things with any device is to see that the voltage matches XD
