Buffy.the.Mosquito.SlayerHave to agree, it's nowhere near a 4 season. Danny Milks- what gives?

VajtagalIs it 4-seasons for the warmth rating? Because the best would be a pyramid tent with a wood-burning stove. Is it ability to withstand extreme wind and snow? That could range from Warmlite 2R (44 oz) to a Mountain Hardwear Trango 2 (157 oz). Does a BD single wall qualify? A bivy? A pyramid shield shelter? Really want to hear your thoughts.

DannyMilks"The chief differences between winter tents and three season ones are wind resistance and the ability to withstand heavy snow fall. Consequently, winter tents typically come with an extra rigid exoskeleton and have steeply angled sides." There's more if you want to look on this site. Hope that helps. http://sectionhiker.com/what-is-a-4-season-tent/
