Frankz58Thanks for posting, but that's the older version of the Zero 1. This drop is for the Pathfinder, which is the newest version that was just released. Unfortunately there aren't any good reviews of it just yet. However, from our talks with Zerogram over the last year, based upon the feedback from the discussion here and our own testing, they addressed the major issues that surfaced with the original version - the difficulty in getting a taught pitch, the lack of vestibule, and a few others. So I'm pretty excited to see this in action! And, I think the most important thing to keep in mind, as others have stated here and Section Hiker pointed out, is that this is somewhere between a tent and a bivy - so set expectations accordingly.

DannyMilksThe taught pitch was a big issue I had with the first version. Looks like they put eyelets on the sides to help with that. The original has a vestibule so I don't understand how that was addressed. Most people were worried about the angle the vetibule sat at in which it would allow rain to come inside the tent. looks like they of centered the mesh lining about 3 inches to allow for slight cover for this.
It's great that they put customer feedback into the newer version but the price increase necessary? I enjoyed the fact the original version was cheap and affordable for almost anyone. I'd be interested how this pans out against the original version. I would like to do a side by side comparison but don't feel like dumping 180 dollars just to make a youtube video about this, haha!

McCaskillThanks for the post, and comparison to the original one. It looks like the price only went up $10 - doesn't seem like that big of an increase. But I agree that it is nice to have some affordable solo shelter options, and this is one of them. Bigger than a bivy, not quite a tent, and well under $200.
