Just received the knives and I'm really underwhelmed.
I bought the 6.5" cleaver and the Veggie Cleaver.
what looks in the photos as an angled grind is actually just some sort of light etching
and there's no angle, the knife is completely flat.
both knives are thin and feel very light, both bent to the left and out of the box are not very sharp.

ShaulbWorse than that, the etching on mine became discolored after slicing a lime and washing with mild dish soap--almost as if the etching is actually some kind of flimsy coating, that's wearing off (possibly in our food) as we use it? Can't say I'm too thrilled by this version--underwhelmed is the right word.

ShaulbYup, we're just gonna have to make the best of it.
I do try to remember to use mine now and then but really, the other knives I have are easier to use. On the other hand, I'm going to hang on to this thing anyway--might come in handy for my next "murder and dismemberment" party?
