Chef’s knives are perhaps the most versatile of any shape available. They have a wide belly for slicing, a fine tip for detailed cuts, and good balance to support any type of grip. This drop comes with two chef’s knives, one 8 inches long and the other 4.5 inches long. The blades are made from 440C high-carbon stainless steel that’s hardened to 58 on the Rockwell scale, meaning they will hold their edge over time. The full-tang construction adds to the strength of the frame, and the waterproof TPR handles will stay grippy in slippery conditions.
