Jaysunat the same price point
osiruscirceHowdy, So to be clear we are talking about the Crane 2 & 3 being priced at $649.99 and the Plus that is being offered in this drop is $449.99, $200 less than either.

Tex-ArozziYeah why would you spend 200 dollars less on an inferior model than the advances Zhiyun has added on the 2 and 3. This is a waste of money for anyone looking to score a decent stabilizer both the 2 and 3 have LCD screens with follow focus dedicated knob for several brands (including Sony and Canon) integrated into it, The Plus does not.
If you look at it from an economic standpoint buying the Plus at the current market price 499 offered directly on Zhiyun's website https://zhiyun.us/collections/frontpage/products/pre-order-zhiyun-crane-plus-newest-3-axis-gimbal-for-mirrorless-dslr-cameras?gclid=CjwKCAjwpKveBRAwEiwAo4Pqm2TrsaVoSZjk5fvNdbtBRfzGzKSTinLDXCDk7_ka2IvMFub_sdcZ3BoCNi0QAvD_BwE

Tex-ArozziIf you buy it from Zhiyun with klarna (an awesome monthly payment system) you can buy the 2 or the 3 when it comes out for just 4 more monthly payments.

osiruscirceActually you are wrong in quite a few aspects. For starters the Crane Plus features features that the Crane 2 doesn't have. The Crane 2 has the ability to carry bigger cameras, but not everyone uses DSLRs or huge zoom lenses on gimbals.

BenchZownerWhat features? The Crane 2 has a superior performance in everyway and is even cheaper now. Not mentioning an LED screen and is built far better and includes mechanical follow focus motor and a nice case to store everything for $549 at BH or Amazon... While each gimbal is made with a similarly sturdy aluminum alloy, some design elements of the Crane 2 surpass that of the Crane Plus. For instance, the battery compartment of the Crane 2 is embedded into the main body of the gimbal itself. This is a much better design approach compared to the one found in the Crane Plus where an accidental twist on the device may disconnect the battery, thus shutting down the entire system. I returned the Crane 2 and waiting on the Crane 3 to ship. Just because it says it can "sustain" 5.2 or 7.2 lbs does not mean it can actually hold that depending on your use case if you are just filming 2 people having a walking conversation or stationary setting all you need is a Tripod or an Edelkrone PocketRig2 https://edelkrone.com/products/pocketrig-2 the Crane 2 Struggled with a Canon 80D + battery grip and 50mm f/1.2 and thus was returned bought it on black Friday it included a nice 2nd handle grip for free.
