Does anyone know if these would fit ok into my varmilo VA87MN keyboard? I've read somewhere that the keys on a varmilo are somewhere between cherry and OEM profile which can make it hard for other profiles to fit properly into the keyboard? Anyone have any insight? Or if these would be too crowded?

OrganZI'm a little confused on the sizing terms you are using, so to clarify: - Your VA87 has a standard ANSI layout with cherry compatible keystems. The spacing between the keys themselves is standardized, so any set of keys you buy will "fit" on your board. Crowding will not be an issue. - Keycap profiles refer to the height and contouring of the keys in each row of the keyboard. You can see the difference between the profiles you mentioned here: http://elitekeyboards.com/proddata/images/th/redesc_compare1000_th0x0.jpg - These keys have an approximately standard OEM profile for maximum compatibility with most boards - The key profiles on your VA87 will depend on where you acquired it from, but assuming you got it on this drop (https://www.massdrop.com/buy/varmilo-va87mr), then your keys will be "Step Sculpture 2, low profile", a profile I can find effectively no information on. The closest I got was this thread (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=75293.0), in which they claim they are fairly close to cherry. - Given the above, and that the key profile has "low profile" in the name, your keys may sit lower than these OEM keys. You probably wont notice in row 1 (spacebar) and row 5 (numbers) because probably these will, relative to the row 2-4 caps this set replaces, still sit lower and higher respectively, especially with the slant on the VA87. Where you might run into trouble is with the row 2-4 modifiers - it might feel strange to have a lower profile key on the edges of the boards... but then again maybe it would be nice! - If you get these and don't like the feel of the combination, you could always just buy a cheap set of OEM keys to replace the modifiers and rows 1 and 5, like these on amazon for $18 https://www.amazon.com/Bossi-Double-shot-replacement-mechanical-keyboards/dp/B01IBM92GQ/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1479500735&sr=8-12&keywords=keycaps+white
Hope that helps!

CandarYou are generally correct. I have a VA68m and you're better off buying a full set of OEM profile to go with this rather than mixing with your existing Step Sculpture 2. I tried to mix and the profile is not close enough to be comfortable (it's incredibly obvious and annoying as a touch typer).
