Nice leather case, but seriously $139.99 entry level for ~$25 dollars in materials (if purchased in small lots, ~$7 for bulk) worth of headphone cables? Holy crap that is horrible. Maybe a touch more expensive with the more complex connectors, but definitly not for the TRS, XLR-4, and Sennheiser HD6xx. Very much so going to nope out on this (like every other cable in this price bracket that isn't 20-50').

FayneAll of our wire is proprietary and cannot be bought from any DIY site and even in bulk costs far more than you're alluding to. These cables are handmade by us in our shop in the USA. Sorry if that wasn't clear. Ofcourse if you want to make a cable yourself that would be a great project!

ZMFheadphonesHigh strand litz isn't proprietary, it is a line item on the order for wire. Silvering is too. Edit: Making a headphone cable isn't a project. It is a 15-30 minute operation (depending on how fancy).

CalvinMillsEvery once in a while I see cables that are fairly sexy, and in a price range that doesn't make me twitch. I'm willing to pay for nice cables. I just have a serious problem with the whole audiophile cable pricing, especially when the cables cost as much or more than the target cans. For example, if the ZMF cables were priced at a point that my bullshit and snake-oil alarms weren't screaming bloody murder, I'd probably have one or two. Apparent build quality is not in my list of complaints, and they definitely are as attractive looking as you can get for braided litz. These forums are for discussing the products. I'ma discussin'.
