So, it's ~20:00 on a Wednesday night. I haven't slept in about 60 hours, and I have to work tomorrow. Yet, here I am, at my computer playing through my favorite albums.
These headphones are downright excellent - they're not the most comfortable I've worn, nor the most accurate, nor the prettiest I've seen, certainly not the lightest - but I'll be damned if they aren't the most satisfying I've listened to. No matter what I throw at them, it just works out wonderfully. That's $300 very well spent, if you ask me. (V2, for the record)
Glad they are arriving for everyone. If anyone hasn't gotten their headphones yet - and wants tracking please email me at zmfheadphones@gmail.com
Thanks again for checking these out guys! =)
ZMFheadphonesWow, today was like late Christmas! What a pleasant surprise! Listening to them now and loving how comfy they are. Running a couple songs through them right now. The psytrance thump is so real. Thanks so much, Zach!
These headphones are awesome. The fit and isolation are great. They are a bit dark but have a great balance. Those pads actually feel better at times than the alpha pads as well.
nwgnpI actually prefer the standard pads to the alpha pads comfort wise. Sound wise I am sure the alpha pads increase the soundstage somewhat artificially but you may prefer them. Zach used to have a description of pads on his website. He may be able to chime in on sound differences.
I absolutely love my Vibros. My only small complaint is that they are a little heavy, but that didn't stop me from listening to them non-stop on a 5 and half hour flight across the country. Zach/ZMF is also great to deal with.
I have the ZMF v1 and they are awesome, I was changing headphones every 6 months until I got these and they've lasted me 2 years and my upgradeitis hasn't come back. v1 has plenty of bass for me, I listen to dubstep all the time with them
