Currently using Ori with my d7200 and love them. Only complaint is the sealed feeling around ear's. Perforated help with that? Probably reduce bass a touch?
wadec22Sometimes "spinning" the pad so that the thicker part is more "under" the back of the earlobe can help with that? It can help sometimes to have the pad slightly tilted instead of uniformly up to down regarding the opening. I would say it might be worth tring universe pads from our site over perf pads because you will lose so much bass with perf.

ZMFheadphonesThanks. Woth those being a little thinner will I lose a little soundstage with the driver being closer to the ear?
wadec22Well, the stage might be a little wider due to the larger ear opening, but the ear is a tiny bit closer to the driver causing a more intimate depth. So it's a trade-off I guess.

wadec22Was also thinking of going for the Ori Perforated for my D7200. I think it would definitely be a better option since stock D7200 are also perforated from the bottom (inside), all non perforated pads that I tried made the D7200 too harsh and bassy.
CamperIVDefinitely a good rule of thumb is that if the stock have perforations than perforated pads will keep the original sound sig the best! Good call!

ZMFheadphones@ZMFheadphones Thanks for the advice. Also is the shipping date final (1st of February)? If so, then I might order 2 pads now since I'd have to wait so long. Cheers!

CamperIVNow I'm just debating between perforated Ori or Universe.... universe looks maybe a touch too big for the d7200.... thoughts?

wadec22I'm going for Ori, it has a smaller diameter. The Universe is a little larger and would probably fit the D7200 loosely.

ZMFheadphonesIs there a good way to perforate my existing Oris?
