Hi ZMFheadphones! I heard only good things about your products on the internet. I wanted to ask you whether these pads are suitable as replacement for Audio-Technica ATH-A900x. Thank you!

JohnnyMSize wise you'd want the auteur pads, our pads don't come with adapters or attachment rings though, so you may have to source those if needed.

ZMFheadphonesI have the ATH-A990Z which is the same size as the aforementioned headphone. You say the Auteur pads would be the best fit size wise but looking at the specs they are only a millimeter or two larger than the Universe pads so would the Auteur's really fit better? These cans are large and do not require adapters or rings but have a slightly angled shape with a piece of foam around the driver. Not sure if this foam is supposed to seal around the inner opening of the pads. My ZMF Oval Cowhides feel great so I'd love to get equally good pads for these cans.

TWillyThe quality of all the pads will be as good as the Cowhides. The Universe pads with the slightly smaller shape and ear-volume will be a little warmer sounding also caused by the ear being ever so slightly closer to the ear. I think both would work, if you're concerned with that foam working best with the pads, the Universe pad may actually work better. If you want to get closest to stock sound best to measure the stock pads and buy the one that is closest in dimensions.
