What a ridiculous controversy, this is a generic idea with a generic execution. That fully applies to the 'original' version as well.

agentmayhemLmao people acting like KK own the concept of a paw on a keycap. They can get all the cookies for being first to execute the idea but that's all. The last sale (raffle) was about 8 months ago. No one needs to defend them.
The sculpt and shapes are different, the material is different, the feel is different. It's different in every way except concept. In many industries, variety and competition are good for the consumers but here, everyone is seemingly against it.
Is it to protect their 'investment' of ridiculously inflated artisans? If people knew you could get a similar (and superior) cap at possibly even a lower price, then the value of meowcaps will probably drop along with demand.
Anyway I was not interested in the first version that was all aluminium but this time round, the silicone pads make them an instant buy. This makes the cap even more different than meowcaps.
