I'm interested in the beer glasses. They shown but I see no option to order them. What's up with that?

They are available now. The beer and whiskey glasses are very popular and may have sold out the last time you checked.

Thanks! I'll look.
I still haven't gotten this package yet. Is there problem? Anyone ordered it, living at Canada too?
These are awesome, especially the tall beer glasses are perfect for margaritas that don't sweat.
These glasses my annoy your guests: • the dual wall cuts down on the amount of alcohol a glass of the same outside diameter would normally hold (makes your guests think you're stiffing them). • if your drink requires that much insulation to remain cold, you're not drinking it fast enough (your guests might think you expect them to baby their drink, rather than quickly knocking it back and asking for another).
you're all evil minions of the underworld for making the tumblers sell out...just sayin...
Borosilicate sometimes happens to be less fragile, but is not engineered to be any stronger than standard glassware.
Due to its increased thermal shock resistance, borosilicate glass is used for laboratory glass like beakers and test tubes as well as for cookware in your kitchen. It can withstand uneven heat from a Bunsen burner or be taken out of the oven and put on the stove top without breaking from thermal shock.
It is also used in perfume bottle applications due to its chemical durability. The phase separation of its microstructure allows for higher resistance to acidic degradation.
Can I get either 1 beer glass and 1 red wine glass or one each of the beer, red & white wine glasses? I live alone and have no more than 3 people at a time visiting?

If you had more glasses, you might have more friends--just say'n.
Re: borosilicate glass. We own several double-walled from Bodum and other reputable brands. Honestly they're nothing special and the glass is considerably brittle (at least compared to other types of glass), so you have to be a bit careful to knock them or make sure they're not jumbling inside the dishwasher.
My wife got these tumblers as a gift. Drinking fine Irish whiskey neat we decided the tumblers were not for us. I think due to the whiskey does not warm up on your hand like a regular tumbler does. But if you want your liquids to stay hot or cold and not be affected by your body or outside heat they are probably great. Oh, the lip of the glass has to be pretty wide by design so it is kind of like drinking from a coffee cup.
So sad, everything arrived broken :( I have sent them back.
Well, that sucks, one of my glasses was all shattered in the box

Just contact support about it, they were nice and helpful

thanks I will do that
I have the espresso cups from another drop and I really like them. To my mind they don't feel cheap or plastic as mentioned in a previous comment. I think they look and feel like glass. I really like the look of them. I have ordered the small wine tumblers (10 oz) but I can't think what I will drink out of them. I don't drink alcohol so it will have to be juice.
Will these take the downward force of an Aero-press without breaking?
Keep in mind that borosilicate, while it IS glass, feels "cheap", and sounds a lot like plastic. They're made out of it because of how strong it is, and I think it's worth the trade-off, but don't expect these to feel like the glass you're used to.

That’s interesting! I have a couple other borosilicate glasses (tea cup and coffee cup) they don’t really strike me as cheap feeling. Is it because you feel like the double (fairly thin) walls feel cheap? In my own mind I think I always expect thin glass to feel like thin glass.
My other borosilicate items (pyrex roasting dish, 3d printer bed feel as heavy or heavier than equivalent normal glass.

I think it's mostly because of how they sound. Everyone I've had over who used one asked if they were plastic.
Are they good for hot beverage like espresso?
asafshmulevich
Is that a serious question?
Worth. But high custom services, shipping to Poland.... First time custom service from massdrop, previosly I have ordered lot of other goods.

Psst: the guy above me ratted you out to customs--they're watching you now. Don't tell 'em I told you.
I got the beer glasses as well as the coffee mugs from a separate drop. Absolutely in love. These are some of the best-looking glassware I've ever seen. I've had multiple (unsolicited!) compliments from guests on how nice these look. I just love how the liquid looks like it's floating. Its an amazing combination of form and function with perfect execution. Beer stays cold and coffee hot for noticeably longer than my old glasses and mugs.
I'm considering buying lots of shapes of these and just stocking my whole cabinet with this series. I'm a programmer who considers myself a design nerd---I love Don Norman!---and something about these glasses just resonates with me. They're really some of my favorite objects ever, and I want them around me for a very long time.

Perhaps you could design a bathtub along the same lines? I'm sure it would be a hit--you'll make millions!
Dimensions please :)
I ordered the beer glasses and tumblers in the last drop (3 sets/6 glasses of each kind) and received them a few days ago. So far, I like them a lot and am happy with my purchase. I haven't done any comparisons to see how long they hold ice compared to a single wall glass, but the outside doesn't get nearly as cold as a single wall glass, and the glass doesn't sweat (even in the crazy humid Spring we've been having). They're not as insulating as a stainless steel vacuum glass (based solely on feeling the outside surface), but I wouldn't expect it to be, either.
I've also used the tumbler for hot tea, and the surface does not get noticeably hot. I considered getting the Zwilling espresso and coffee cups here, but held off because I wanted something with a handle. However, I now think a handle is more of an aesthetic issue; your handles won't get hot from holding a hot beverage in these glasses.
They look very nice, and have no seams. There's a small dot on the bottom of the glass from the blowing process.
Everything arrived with no problems, no broken glasses, and was carefully packed. Shipping for six sets was $8.25, so this turned out to be a very good price.
P.S. Write not, I'm drinking coffee from one of the tumblers. The outside of the glass is slightly warm, not hot. The inside of the glass is very hot, so the double wall does a good job of insulating.
the tumbler set looks dope but...why shipping 2 tumblrs + 2 wine glasses costs more than 8 wine glasses?
weird.
I just joined this same drop a week ago and now they are cheaper? :(
Wow, after shipping, exchange rate, and duty, it costs almost double what it does from a local brick-and-mortar store here in Canada.
Does it ship with scotch on the rocks as in the picture? lol
I have some coffee cups with a similar design. There is a vent on the bottom of the glass so the temperature change doesn't stress the glass to cracking due internal pressure. The vent is water resistance. Silicone maybe? I wash mine in the dishwasher. I haven't developed any condensation in two years but I did have one crack on the lip but I still use it. $35 on Amazon for two 10 oz mugs so I'm going to get in on this deal.

I have the coffee cups too and never noticed that little hole before--and I sure wouldn't have figured out why it was there--Thanks!
How do I wash in between the two walls?

Why would you need to?

Are the mouths of the white wine and red wine glasses the same width... and is the only difference the capacity (10 oz for white wine vs. 12 oz for red wine)? Or does the red wine glass have a broader mouth too?
lutar
great question. I'm wondering this too
Is the space between the walls empty? I saw some glasses with water between the walls so that we can freeze them before serving to keep the beverages cool.

Thank you so VERY much. I've requested to be notified.

My folks had some that appeared to be glass (felt like glass) that they could freeze. I'm sure they were not made out of glass, otherwise I would thought they would have frozen and broken, but they did have some. I just got rid of them a couple years ago, when I cleaned out Mother's condo. Check at Goodwills. That's what I did with hers, but now I wish I had them back.
The beer glass looks awesome, just picked up a pair!
