There is only a soft bag "carry pouch" included. Earlier in discussion thread a competing product from Meze was described. It includes walnut wood hp's, hard case, two sets of detachable cables (shorter/longer), airline adapter, AVR & DAC/Amp adapter, and accessory zip pouch. Wow, this thread really became so caustic that it is unreasonable to expect intelligent debate on the merits of THOSE cables. Nevertheless, let me add a splash of my acid here :)

so I bought this from ebay the day I saw this drop because I didn't want to wait lol Just got it today. Using my galaxy note 3 with USB Audio Player Pro, the ivy was able to drive my K7XX at a higher volume vs the headphone out, but not by a lot (I was able to drive it at max with the ivy without immediately having to take the headphones off my head, although I would not listen at that loud of a level normally). If you are looking for crystal clear details and great mids, then get the HD6XX but if you want easy to listen to headphones get the K7XX. HD6XX would be my recommendation because they are the same price and more detailed (you can hear every pluck of the guitar) and have great mids in my opinion. They are slightly bright (high treble) on some (sabre based) dac/amps but that is easily fixed with a new dac/amp combo. The HD6XX's do have one heck of...

Using my m9XX with my HD800, some thoughts on the pairing:
1) un-EQ'd it's a bright pairing. Not harsh per se, but definitely bright and lacking bass extension. This, however, is simply how the HD800 sounds. The flip side is that it's a supremely detailed, spacious, dynamic, fast, transparent pairing as well. The Deckard looks tremendous, but the paucity of digital ins and analog outs means that it won't work for many of us who want a DAC/Pre with a reasonably powered headphone out. And as much as I'd like to own the iFi BL (I use a first-gen iDSD at the office), I can't help holding back for another sale from Adorama, etc. Besides, that's going to become my new office DAC. The fact that it can double as a mini-Pre will make it my backup as well.

said this last time around.... why, why, why doesn't this have a headphone jack? Would have bought it years ago as a small dac amp to power a TV / PC / Chromecast puck set up. It's got the inputs, am sure the sound quality is good enough - I don't go loud - but having that headphone for the times where I just want to be the sole listener without bothering others would have been perfect.

Just picked mine up today (finally) and my quick impressions are that these are pretty much what I expected; somewhere between my m50's and q701's. I'm probably biased because I've grown so used to the akg sound from using the q701's so much (even though I EQ them a lot), but I'm finding the k553's better than the m50's in all the comparisons I've been doing between them (testing with the Monoprice DAC/Amp, because me poor).

Gave it a listen on my Jot (DAC Module) + CA Andromeda, here's some thoughts on the overall performance:
