Wait, 150 Ohm resistance on earbuds? Will that even work okay on stuff like the Galaxy S3 or most laptops without an amp? I was considering these and then noticed the resistance and then wondered why I would want these. If I wanted to use something that I would need to carry an amp around for, I would just use my T1's everywhere.

I got the pro alpha. The high are way too bright, headache inducing actually. I use them to listen to Spotify on my Nexus 5x. The interesting thing is that these earbuds are the only ones that respond well to Spotify's built in EQ and it actually improves the overall sound. The proalpha's tanglefree cable is pretty awesome. Overall great for the price I paid.
