Tony Moly Egg Pore Shiny Skin Soap
I really liked these, but I would advise against them for anyone who is prone to clogged pores. I don't have sensitive skin - the only products that usually make me break out are facial scrubs. Probably due to the coconut oil, using this soap caused me to break out horribly and I had to stop using it :( The soap made my face feel really clean, smooth, and shrank my pores, but obviously just wasn't right for my skin.

Advice for skin car
So i'm getting close to 30 and finally trying to care for my skin. I am still so new at it. The best I do for my face is putting lotion on it 2x a day (usually). Can anyone advise me on how to better care for my skin, face or body? I should note I do

What does your skincare routine look like?
So cool reading about everyone's go-to products! I'm also pretty new to the "being kind to your skin" thing, and up until recently wasn't using much more than a cleanser, a moisturizing cream, and a way-too-harsh makeup remover from the local pharmacy. A few Massdrop deliveries later, and this is where I'm at. Still figuring out how best to use all of these, but already my dry, sensitive skin is a whole lot happier.

Liha Idan Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil
This is my new favorite all-purpose magic worker! My skin is pretty sensitive so I'm careful about what I put on it, and so far everything from Liha has made the cut. I mostly use this as a nighttime facial oil, but have also used it on frizzy hair, dry hands, etc. If I'm not wearing makeup that day, I'll dab some on in the morning to get that lovely dewy look. And holy cow, it smells so good!

Urth Shaving Cream
Slightly off topic, but I thought I'd throw this in as potentially useful info for people looking for this kind of thing: My dark-brown facial hair grows in very fast so that I have to shave every day, and I also have extremely sensitive skin. Razor burn used to be a perennial problem for me. The best shave I've ever had I've only discovered in the past year, and it's very simple:
First, I shave IN the shower. I do it last, so the warm water ha...

What does your skincare routine look like?
ok here it goes. I have sensitive, dry skin, I'm 37 years old. I've been doing this (or a slight variation) for about a year and I am thrilled with the condition of my skin. I used to break out regularly (small breakouts) and get dry, tight skin.
Disclaimer: I love face and body care but never considered myself that hard core about it until I constructed this list...lol well anyway I do look amazing, everything feels and smells great, I can't co...

Sensitive, Dry Skin
While I love the idea of this community, most beauty products out there are not made for those of us with sensitive, dry, aging skin. Most products I try cause at the very least itching, other cause more severe reactions including redness and rash.

What does your skincare routine look like?
It's been a bit over 6 months since I started having any sort of skin care routine, so I thought I'd update since it's gotten colder in the winter months and I've gotten more familiar with different products:
(PM) Banila Co. Clean It Zero: Purity- about to run out so will be replacing with Muji Sensitive Oil Cleanser per Muiju's recommendation!
(AM/PM) COSRX Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser- love the smell and it does its job, but I've only just r...

Urth Face Wash
If this is a non-foaming cleanser, I've tried Spectro before and it will also leave your face relatively moist after a wash (given its non-foamy, sulfate-free formulation), not to mention it is many times cheaper than Urth. Also, I don't know TEA-lauryl sulfate very well but it sounds like pretty much in the same ballpark as sodium lauryl sulfate, i.e. the foamy, mass-market surfactant used in basically every soap out there. But I'm not an expert...

MIT Skincare/Beauty Waste Project Help!
Hi! I'm an MIT student working on trying to quantify the amount and impact (in $ and resources) of skincare products that don't get used by consumers and end up being thrown away. It would be great if you could help me gather data with this survey. T

Hypoallergenic Watches?
I happen to love wearing watches. Unfortunately, the skin on my wrist abhors them. Whenever I try to wear a steel watch, or a gold watch that isn't completely pure, the nickel added to the metal gives me an awful rash. So far, the only watches I've

[Ongoing] Cooking: Community Questions & Answers
This is actually how a lot of fast food places do it, like McDonald's. They cook their fries at a central facility the first time and then freeze them. Then they get shipped out to all the franchises where they only do the second fry.
A little unrelated but this is also the best way to reheat leftover fried chicken, especially Popeye's. Instead of using the oven or microwave, just fry them again and you'll have extra crispy skin. Of course this is...
