Got mine. The legs are very sturdy and thoughtfully made but I'm a bit worried that there's no way to fix or adjust the legs' tension when they got loosen after extensive use. The phone holder looks good too. I've attached a $20 Slik SBH-100 ball head and had no problem holding a 5D with 24-105mm F4L lens. Robust and rock solid but super light.

I own the carbon fiber Mefoto Globetrotter. I looked at the Roadtrip, but prefered the Globetrotter. I like the Globetrotter, because the weight difference between the two is not that much . The Globetrotter easily supports 6-8 lb of camera gear. The only minor fault is the ballhead would a bit larger and the cloth case would be a bit larger. It is a tight fit for the folded tripod .
