Checkout the company Serious Watches, they're based in Holland and are an authorized dealer of Orient watches. That's where I bought my Bambino (I live in Canada) and the prices were the best I came across. Shipping and customer support is also fast and top notch. Highly recommended.

Not available in the UK through any real dealer from Orient anyway, and the cheapest I can find it is like £200 in stock anyway so for a watch I have wanted for a while it isn't that bad to be fair. I do agree its crazy for anyone in the US though?

I think you were looking at different watch. Amazon had grey and black Trooper on sale at $120 for two days at the beginning of November and since then the lowest price was $152 and $149 from a third party dealer. White dial has always been $200+ Red dial is new this season and don't even available anywhere except directly from Orient.
