Always use sources and songs you're familiar with.
Daft Punk - Lose Yourself to Dance
The guitar lick and bass beat in the beginning quickly separate a lot of headphones/IEMs. As the song progresses, you'll be able to test the sound stage.
Massive Attack - Tears
The intro with its intentional static and deep bass.
Anne Akiko Meyers - Concerto No. 1 in E major, Op. 8, RV 269, "La primavera" (Spring): I. Allegro
An interesting test of separation, sound stage and decay.
That's a fantastic recording on the Vivaldi concerto. I just pulled it up on Spotify and with extreme setting it's almost as good as many 44.1/16 lossless tracks I've listened to. I guess I better head over to hdtracks and see if I can get it in HD.
No thanks required. Just sharing the love ^^
I really enjoy the recording too and listen to it frequently! Hence why I can use the track to test audio equipment :)
