just some thoughts, even though i love MD a lot, this isn't the best place to ask for help in regards of your special needs like ISO-DE. Outside Europe (ISO-DE countrys) people will have a hard time to have knowledge about options/market. Better places might be Computerbase: https://www.computerbase.de/forum/showthread.php?t=1326504 or Hardwareluxx: http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community/f87/mechanische-tastaturen-und-andere-sonderwuensche-757147.html for their German communities as example. It's understandable to get the best fitting your needs, but sometimes the combination of this needs might be very limiting :( Enough for now as first feedback.

Thanks for your reply. I searched Geizhals already, so yes, there isn't much left. Fn+xxx as volume control would do it for me. If it comes to soldering... Well, may it be, I would try my best. I'll read the rest (first both links) as soon as I can. Thanks a lot.

*Help* Screw in stabilizers not fitting in Dropshift V2 keyboard
I'm trying to build a mechanical keyboard with screw in stabilizers, I've build some mechanical keyboards with click-in stabilizers, never with screw in. Somehow one of the pins of the metal top-part collides with the screw in stabilizer of the numpad "enter key". I already tried grinding of a bit of the pin that collides with the stabilizer, but unfortunately I can't make it fit/close properly. You can see that the pin of the toppart leaves a mark on the bottompart of the stabilizer, see picture 2. What am I missing? Using Durock V2 in a Dropshift fullsize V2. See pictures below, thanks in advance!

Want to build a Clicky Mech Keyboard. Where to begin?
Hello all. Am brand new to the idea of building my own keyboard. Have not a clue where to begin this process. I am a Sim Game enthusiast. American Truck Sim, DCS Flight Sim and goes from there. Need some real help on where to start for making my own Full Size, Clickey Mechanical KB. I want each key to have its own backlighting. Are there keys that are better than others for this? Is there a great spot on site for a person who has never even taken a keyboard apart? Let alone fixed or built one? I would like it to fit my theme of Red and Black. Yet maybe have the option of changing things up a bit. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all kindly, Durazell

Does the ALT v2 PCBA support USB-C e-marked cables?
Currently my ALT v1 does not work with e-marked USB-C cables. I was wondering if the v2 PCBA does support these types of cables (thunderbolt 4 cable for example)?

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".

I did some digging on the internet to find some nice , but one of them is 100% the one I'm thinking of.
My short list of needs
- backlight (red or orange or RGB individuel)
- TKL or with Numpad but then withou the keyblock between (ins, del, home, end...)
- metal frame
- floating keys
- volume control
- Anti-Ghosting / N-Key rollover
- german layout
Nive to have- USB-Hub
- cabel - I don't need another wireless device, if it's not the perfect keyboard in my eyes
- wrist rests
I stumbled across these keyboards, but as I said, none of them seems perfect to meHere at Massdrop I found https://www.massdrop.com/buy/sentraq-60-diy-keyboard-kit
I really like the offered sandwich case in red or orange, the black on grey key caps (are there transparent on black key caps somewhere? Haven't seen any).
But it's only 60%, a little to small in my opinion and even it it's fully programmable, I miss a dedicated volume control and I'm not sure I am good in soldering...
Last thing about the switches: I tried a lot keyboards, the differences doesn't really matter to me, except one thing: typing should be as silent as possible. So I think Cherry MX Black might be the best for me.
I know this is a lot to think of, but perhaps someone has an idea. Otherwise I will buy Corsair K65 LUX RGB Compact in a couple of weeks and will have to live with it's weaknesses.
