Recommended Base Layer Pant?

more_vert
Gents, With the winter season kicking on, I've noticed that my daily walks from the train to school in NYC have become a bit less comfortable than they had been, and I was thinking that maybe a nice base layer would help keep me in better spirits. I'm a bit worried about being too hot, especially given that I have a roughly 40 minute train ride and then class to sit through after my commute. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good base layer that can be worn all day without being too warm? I've seen some stuff on Mack Weldon but I'm not sure if I want to throw down $50-$80 on underwear I'm going to end up sweating through all day. -Alex

Uniqlo Heattech Leggings work great at $20 - ultra for sub-zero. Standard Heatech leggings don't overheat inside and keep you plenty warm in the cold. Nothing wrong with Mack Weldon's product - you get a lot of bang for your buck with MW.
