Hi everyone. I just saw this kick-starter campaign. It involves supposedly the world's first 24-bit Bluetooth receiver.
That you can actually use audiophile quality headphones wirelessly and still get the same quality sound with Bluetooth as you would if you plugged them into a source with a DAC.
They claim their technology can upscale any streaming source to 24-bit. Spotify, Pandora and the rest. They describe their process and their technology. They talk about having dual DAC''s and analog volume control. I'm not familiar with all their technical descriptions on their page.
I'm providing the link to their page. I was hoping somebody could look it over and see if what they claim is viable.

This really interests me since I listen to my music while working or at home cooking or doing chores. To be able to listen to high end headphones via Bluetooth really interests me.
But if it's just a scam I don't want to waste my money.

Thank you everyone.
BluetoothguyThe bits are already lost via the bluetooth transmission, having a high-res compatibility on the receiving end is completely pointless if the signal being sent is compressed. The only codec claiming at/above CD quality is LDAC, which this adapter doesn't even support. It appears to be more powerful than your typical bluetooth receiver but there will only be very marginal gains in sound quality for the increased price. The signal this device receives is not even equivalent to 16 bit 44.1khz so the inclusion of a 24-bit compatible DAC is like owning a ferrari but never taking it over 35 mph.
