I see a lot of arcteryx gear getting polled and a lot of interest in their gear but it seems like they don't want any part of this? I'm assuming any reach out from massdrop has come back with a negative response. anyone shed some light on this?

Arcteryx lost me as a customer a decade ago- a couple decidedly 'non-premium' customer service experiences on their products, combined with their shift in production from Vancouver to China with no reflection in product pricing.
My preferred brands have become Marmot, Outdoor Research, RAB.

I’ve had an arcteryx shell for 6yrs now. I had buyers remorse walking out of the store, but that quickly went away. I’ve used it extensively in most seasons, and after all these years it still looks fashionable and performs well. The loop on the collar just fell off, and they’d probably fix it if I wanted them too. Other than that it’s still going strong.

I 100% agree - they make some good gear, but you're significantly overpaying for a trendy logo. If value and function are more important than looking cool, then the likes of OR/Marmot/BD/MH are the way to go.

I meet with representatives of Arc Teryx a few times a year, and so far they are not interested in working together. They really like what we're doing, they simply don't want us to offer their in-season products at a discount. Honestly, I have not pursued them as hard as I have some other companies, but I think this year I could change that.
As far as the products, yes they have been very highly rated across the board, are popular in the Outdoors, Ultralight and Mens Style Communities, and our Massdrop group pricing would be sweet as their stuff is generally quite expensive.
DannyMilksRandomly perusing the Talk thread... wow pretty dead in the Outdoors section. Given that it's been almost a year any headway with Arc'Teryx? I really think they have some killer gear but the price/performance ratio usually leads me down the OR/Marmot route.
ElectronicVicesSo far, no additional movement on Arc but hopefully it can change! This year we hope to partner with some great brands that can continue moving us in a better direction to pursue brands like Arc'Teryx.
