Pretty much all noise cancelling headphones has a slight buzz. If you are after purely noise cancelling, the QC35 are the best choice. If you want something that sound better though, you should check out the PSB M4U2.

JukaThanks for the recommendation but despite a lot of positive reviews on sound quality in the M4U2's, many recent reviews seem to report issues. Bose is a pretty reputable company and been in the business for a while so for $40 price difference, I'll probably go with the QC35's which are additionally wireless.

Keebler808What kind of issues?
I take sound quality over anything else especially a headphone that was designed by a very reputable speaker designer.
Good luck on your purchase

JukaI read through the reviews on Amazon and while a lot of people give the M4U2's good ratings on sound quality, there were a bunch of recent reviews that were less than optimal when it came to build quality or technical issues.

JukaBose actually used to be a very respected speaker maker, they then came up with those silly tabletop radios that employed some rather tricky acoustical engineering to give tiny full range speakers bass. Those things were so popular they stopped making audio-focused speakers and sunk all their efforts into consumer level audio "gadgets"...sound quality took a back seat. I've heard the QC35 is leaps and bounds better than the early gen noise cancellers but like most of that ilk, struggle a bit in the treble region.
