I purchased r2 Ashen and it was near perfect. Can't find any flaws, and I think they're getting close to rivaling SP in terms of quality. Interestingly, the sound different than SA's from SP.

Can't fault Maxkey really... There's a couple of little issues with the font/typeface on a couple of the keys in the sense that the kerning is a little off, but for the quality of the caps, i can see past those little issues. Plus, from what i've heard, these have been fixed in the more recent sets that they've been releasing.

My first SA and maxkey set arrived today. Aside from a missing > key and the known Kerning/text issues I'm pretty happy. Potato quality photo. It feels good on kailh pro purples.

I picked up a ninja SA as well. I have it on my white VB87M. There's also a MAXKEY Miami SA buy going on.
Maxkey is fixing their keycaps and doing 1-1.5m turnaround times on group buys. Meanwhile, SP is backed up over a year and just swears they can't add more production capacity. Their monopoly via artificial scarcity will be over soon.
SP is trying to take the Nintendo Classic approach to keycaps, except they don't realize they don't have any IP to stop people from making their own.

I have Maxkey SA Ninja keycaps, bought from kbdfans' MyShopify site. Quality is good. Haven't tried Signature Plastics keyset yet so can't really compare quality between the two. Only downside is 'BACK SPACE' key legend. Didn't notice any off-center labels myself which may imply problems were fixed but then question is why would they not correct BACK SPACE problem at the same time?
What did really impress me was that I received it (in California) just 3 days after ordering it. This will help waiting for GMK Nautilus keyset more bearable.

Yeah I'm probably going to pick up a few Oblivion kits when it drops too; I've been waiting for it for a looooong time now. I do have GMK Oblivion on the way in white though, so I'm not sure what I'll be picking up yet.

superdonI actually quite like the look of "BACK SPACE" on the key visually.
It kind of feels retro.
(I don't know if there was ever old keyboards that spelled it that way, but I've seen plenty of crazy looking keys in terms of wording on old keycaps. My wordprocessor has a 'XXX' key for example.)

The quality of the caps as far as feel and color is very good. They started out with SP's old molds.
The legends, however, are awful. Lots off center, SHIF T is a thing, and BACK SPACE. And RETURN is a smaller font. And some of the 1s are one font and some another. And the whole number row is off center.

Yes they are fixing the issues now. At first they were only going to fix specific issues such as SHIF T but SA Lime and I think a couple others insisted on a lot more fixes so it seems they are fixing basically all the issues! Very excited :)

TelFiREI wish there was some way to just buy the fixed replacement keycaps. I noticed that mechsupply over in the UK has opened a group buy for a fixed SA Portland. I would love an option to buy just the fixed keycaps, notably the mods, ESC, DEL and Backspace.

ALT V2 not detected with Drop Keyboard Configurator
Hi, This is my first non-mac keyboard. I was under the impression that this would work out of box with with mac desktop however I am having issues getting the ALT V2 detected with the keyboard configurator software. The keyboard is plugged in and powered on. Apologies if this is very basic or if I have used incorrect language describing my issue, I don't have experience with this. Thank you
