Some quick comparison, the new one is somehow identical to what SP have from many ways. The high is almost the same. Thickness is similar but some of key are tiny bit thicker. The font constancy is not as good as SP and the finish of the surface is not that glossy/smooth (not sure this will effect the durability or not). The runners are better than SP and cut is very clear. Price is $60 for base or $70 with 8 extra novelty keys. I'm quite happy with what I got here. There are some small issues with the surface finish of the novelty key and the 1u 0 key is made by opposite color. New color are coming and more keys will added for key to support more layouts.

Congo-GuySorry for the late reply and the problem is this board is not making anymore since the author is quiet busy with his work and family stuff. I blieve the closest keyboard to this one is the LZ Blackbird or AL1 (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=93258.0).

How do you do per-key RGB lighting on a Shift V2?
I saw the online configurator that lets you do this on the Shift V1, where it spits out a compiled firmware file to flash. The V2 doesn't seem to have this function in the Windows configurator, though. I can't imagine the answer here is "you're going to have to manually write the hex for every key in QMK, compile it, and flash that".
