Budget Mechanical Keypad For Gaming

more_vert
I am relatively tech savvy so I would be able to reprogram/rebind the keys if necessary but it might be a pain. I'm looking for my first mechanical keyboard for gaming. I don't want a full size one, because I could get a smaller keypad for cheeper. My budget is about 50$, but less is always better. I considered the Razor tartarus but it isn't mechanical, and I can't afford an Obaron (or whatever its called). I need keys that are accessible with my thumb/pinky finger, and enough keys to play games and run 2-3 macros. My mouse has 4 extra buttons, but they can't be bound to macros (don't ask why idk). I play on a windows (of course) but I have access to both OS X and Kali linux machines that I could use to reprogram keys.
Thanks, any advice or alternative options is appreciated :)

I think most of the comments here have been off point. I'm looking for a similar product with ideally a 5x5 board. However, having looked through a lot of the market; I haven't found anything with a good setup. One interesting option that was suggested to me was shifting from WASD to YGHJ to maximize possible key usage.

Amazon has various mech keyboards in 30-50 range. Main benefit is lower actuation force, so you can play longer. Plus they usually have N-key rollover and antimasking. I have red switch variation - supposed to be quieter, but it's not. Very loud.

The TeamWolf keyboard that's currently on drop is something to check https://www.massdrop.com/buy/team-wolf-tkl-swappable-switch-mechanical-keyboard
Alternatives are the Magicforce68 and TKL models by Redragon, Velocifire, E-Element, EagleTec. They're all under your 50 budget.

They're Cherry Blue clones. Its a Clicky switch, a common mechanical MX switch.
