Get the PHILIPS SHP9500 and save 70$, well worth it and as a personal owner of the ad700's i personally love the philips more, if you need more information what the z reviews on the shp9500s

MaxEReally? I was planning on getting some AD700X's but if the SHP9500 is better, I think I'm sold.

TheXonarConnectionI can recommend the SHP9500s if you can get SHP9500s around the $60 price point or lower(usually $55 on newegg). Unfortunately haven't tried the AD700Xs. Both the SHP9500 and AD700X are bass light, just fyi. Until I got my HD 6XX, I never noticed the couple of flaws of the SHP9500 - it's a really good performer for the budget. No matter which way you choose though should be quite a big upgrade over what you currently have.
Thought I'd add: Didn't really like the T50RP MK3 all that much(the semi-open version of the t20rp), at least in stock form when compared to other headphones. Very crisp and clear, but mids sounded a bit nasal-y and something just felt a bit off.

MaxEAgreed. I have a pair of SHP9500 at work and I love them. Cheap, comfortable and sound excellent.

TheXonarConnectioni know people hate when they here that there is really now 'better' but its all really what you prefer, btw the philips are the most comfortable thing youll put on your head for 200$
