I bought a bunch of spinners and now I can't stop!

more_vert
Massdrop's Giggle Hands spinner started it for me (first pic, in the background). Truth to be told, I have always needed to fidget with something (used a big bearing for this, for many years - see another post of mine concerning this, by going to my profile); I did not know there were gadgets for this. Now that I have discovered these, I can't stop flipping them, and buying them!

DuncanSince I made that post, I have bought, sold, and traded many more. Clearly, favorites are now the Dot2 and Dot3 from Premium Spinners: https://premiumspinners.com/

More proof X-ers and Millennials will buy damn near anything (and are oblivious to how foolish they appear using them).

PingsI tried those, they are practical for fidgeting at work, but you do end up looking dorky!

Hi Bob. thanks to you and that Phat Boy photo, I'm diving in on a Copper Phat Boy soon. Joe Garritano just told me he will have an r188 version soon 🙀. You got me hooked, man. I just purchased a Triton V2, a Cognito Jr in Copper and a Modulator MKII Deluxe plus additional Brass Orbs. On my wishlist is that Ergo Alpha, a Tri-Stubby, the Interceptor V2 and a TruBlu (too bad I missed the Kickstarter). These toys are stunning. 👊

Wow, that's a gigantic haul. Maelstroms are stunning when they spin. But for rapid fidget, I'm kinda hesitant because of the reported hot spots. Will keep my ears open for new models from FlyAway. Rich is very aware of the hot spots complaints and he's always improving his stuff. Great guy.

StrummThe FlyAway stuff is more adapted to two handed fidgeting, and provide long, long, long, long, buttery smooth spins. So the hotspots are not a problem for me, at all.

Which do you prefer? Tri/bar? Single point spin ...?

KilsimivI seem to have developed a slight preference for tri-spinners. Well balanced bars are nice too, but given the choice, I'd prefer a tri.
Just bought the Triton v2 and the Mini-Triton, and I'm discussing the purchase of a prototype Boomerang titanium. All tri-spinners of sorts.

Thanks for the link...Just pledged ... One another note, I gave my grandson one of the giggle hands spinner when I recently visited them..my son immediately hijacked it! LOL I'm still waiting on the RAMA Works from here. We'll see if I like it enough, you know to warrant addiction status!

Aaaaahhhh, you see, it starts with affordable ones, and soon you order $70 or $80 ones. It's like junkies, the next one fix / spinner needs to be even better than the one before!

BobrazLol. Not really sure if this is 'affordable' but I've got a $58 one in my sights😂😰. I'm also gonna shoot an email to FlyAway about their Anodized Titanium ones 🔥🔥🔥. Gonna be so broke soon.
haha Nano's price is much more appealing too. The standard... talk about sticker shock.

TherocBy buying the big and the small, I managed to get a small discount. They are sold on Etsy and what's cool there, you can contact the makers.
Really like the 'radioactive' Steampunk.

TherocYes me too! That's the Phat Boy, there is the Nano and the 'regular'. The Nano is perfect for EDC, that's the one I have in my pocket, it's small, cute and unobtrusive, and I don't look like a total dork spinning it.
But its bigger brother is way too humongous to be spinned in public. On the pictures, it does not appear to be too big, but I can guarantee that in hand, it's "whoa this spinner is a huge beast"!
