Hi Bob. thanks to you and that Phat Boy photo, I'm diving in on a Copper Phat Boy soon. Joe Garritano just told me he will have an r188 version soon πŸ™€. You got me hooked, man. I just purchased a Triton V2, a Cognito Jr in Copper and a Modulator MKII Deluxe plus additional Brass Orbs. On my wishlist is that Ergo Alpha, a Tri-Stubby, the Interceptor V2 and a TruBlu (too bad I missed the Kickstarter). These toys are stunning. πŸ‘Š

StrummWelcome to my addictions 😁 I have a Phat Boy (stainless steel) two Phat Boy Nano (one copper, one stainless steel) and I have given one to my daughter too. If Joe is coming up with an R188 version I 'will have to' get it too. Personally, I recently splurged on several from Flyawaytoys (titanium Mini-Falcon, titanium Maelstrom, Mini-Maelstrom, and titanium Tsunami), plus a titanium anodized just yesterday (they stay on sale for five minutes basically - that one will be babied).

BobrazWow, that's a gigantic haul. Maelstroms are stunning when they spin. But for rapid fidget, I'm kinda hesitant because of the reported hot spots. Will keep my ears open for new models from FlyAway. Rich is very aware of the hot spots complaints and he's always improving his stuff. Great guy.

StrummThe FlyAway stuff is more adapted to two handed fidgeting, and provide long, long, long, long, buttery smooth spins. So the hotspots are not a problem for me, at all.
