Finally got the 75 key ortho PCB and switches. Pretty happy with the build for a solderless, but I made the mistake of not getting the keycaps with it since I wanted to get something more my style. Now I am having trouble finding a good set of ortholinear keycaps. Is there somewhere I am not looking for ortho caps or are they just hard to find?

https://pimpmykeyboard.com/dsa-pbt-abs-blank-keysets/ You can get them here. Also look for 2u caps that are POS caps for ortho set up. Here is my current set up for that board. https://kprepublic.com/collections/keycaps/products/grab-bag-random-about-600g-one-pack-oem-cherry-dsa-sa-r1-r2-r3-r4-profile-laser-etched-dye-sub-dip-dye-tech-random-package You can also do grab bags that can be fun, and you can usually get enough keys for the board, but it is random caps. This is a mix of randos from a grab bag and part of a set from YDMK. cheapos but I'm happy with them. The 4u cap I have are super fun but just for the lolz.

Also saw in the discussion of the drop something to do with the firmware for the PCB but never saw anything from the vendor on that. The default layout is a little off and I am wondering if I should just bother with laying it out myself with QMK

jebaitedYou absolutely have to use your own firmware, the preloaded one is utterly useless. Just make a layout in QMK Configurator for "idobo" keyboard and flash it onto the board with QMK Toolbox. The first time you do this you need to press the reset button on the back of the PCB. After that, you can use a reset key in your layout (I strongly recommend configuring one).

ronovskyYeah I plan on doing this after looking around some more but I will worry about it when I get some keycaps into lay it down to.
