Titan Moon Phase 1989 Titan is a relative upstart in the watch industry, founded in 1984 in India. Today, they have a few other product lines such as eyewear, accessories, etc. The brand is known more for it affordable watches, even though they happen to own Favre Leuba. In 2017 they had revenue of 2.2 billion USD. This is actually my father’s watch, which he bought in 1989. At this point the brand was only 5 years old, yet it had ventured into making moon phase watches. Key Facts: Moon phase (duh) Calendar with day, date, and month (not perpetual) 22K gold plated (worn out at  the corners of the lugs) 38 mm Some sort of hard glass (not the best, because it has a 1 cm scuff between 1 & 2.) Really pretty (okay, not objective) A total pain in the @$$ to adjust. I always have to take it to the service centre to get the moon right. What do you think!

Pierce_Everett_Nostrand So was the Seiko Astron that started the quartz crisis is 1969. A watch dsnt have to be an automatic to be cool or appreciable. I think this titan looks pretty darn cool.
