Good morning everyone! Todays wrist check is a B-type flieger-style Alpha Sierra Automatic AM2 Limited edition with a nice blue sundial. Alpha Sierra is a Dutch watch company but they have their watches produced in China. This is the only mechanical series they have in their line-up and besides this one, I also own a (quartz) Alpha Sierra Seawolf SSN-21G, on which I did a wrist check before. It's also a good example of a totally overpriced watch that you should only pickup during a sale: the list price (and actual selling price) is €529,- for which you get a 46,5mm, (only) 5atm watch with a sapphire crystal with a 21 jewel Miyota 8217 calibre by Miyota/Citizen with date and 24hr complication. It's hand windable, non-hacking - so pretty basic. Surely nothing worth €529,- for, so I am very pleased to have paid only €149,95 for it on sale (still around €20 more than I think it's worth, but it does come from a Dutch watch company so it has Dutch warranty etc.). If it wasn't for the really nice blue sundial and the engraving on the side (not as visible as with Invicta) it would pretty generic. It does remind me of the many Parnis watches of the same style. However, since I didn't have a real (mechanical) flieger watch in my collection (although my Citizen Sports Eco-Drive AW360-12H comes close) and I didn't want to order a Parnis from China, I pulled the trigger on this . I'm loving the sapphire crystal: it does a great job keeping down reflections and the leather band is super comfortable although I'm probably going to get a Nato strap on it. Anyway: let me know in the comments what you think...

On the watch Alpha Sierra BBS03 I think I've understood their business. In fact if you go to the Alpha Sierra website and try to subscribe, you will get an error message. The site is a kind of bleaching site. These watches are Chinese made. Their real market value is around of 40 Euros but in their fake site they will offer at 399. They may even have a store in The Netherlands and put some offers at Bol.com and other sites but they true business is to sell it through Vavabid and similar auction sites where a fake customer will launch the launcher at 40 Euros and people will follow given more and more. At the end it will be sold at more than 40, maybe at 60, 70. At the and they will win. The watch Navigator BBS03 looks good but it don't deserves more than 50 and you would also pay around of 12 on extra taxes. Be aware.
