Share your before-and-after photo edits

Everyone has their own in-camera shooting techniques but sometimes personal style isn't achieved until post. Show us you're before-and-after photo edits!
Because the majority of my photos are for Instagram only, I typically use the editing app Afterlight. It's quick, offers a lot of control, and is a blast to use.

If you had a lot of control the background would not be blown (left side).
I'm soooo lazy and often edit photos from my mobile using snapseed.
This is my favorite

Should note, these pictures are actually taken with my olympus omd em 10 mark 2. But the olympus image share app was apparently set to a smaller image file (3megapixel.... Why you do this olympus?) took me a while to figure out why photo's were lacking.
I just picked up photography after 7 years (previously shot for 1 yr) Photo taken on Nikon D750 f/8.0 ISO 100 1/160 Profoto B1 with Beauty Dish

I shot this on a Nikon D3200 with a 55-200 kit lens. I wish I had the 70-200 f2.8

Why you wish that, I have no idea. I am a photographer as well and see too many people yearning for a better lens. If lenses made people better photographers, every dumb ass with money would be a pro.

Been meaning to post something to this awesome thread. This is still a bit of a WIP but I'm happy with how it's turning out.

Nice retouching, looking icy! to me at least, if that's the portrayed feel. I see an area/road in the sunglasses, icy town or so?

I mainly use Photoshop for my editing and shoot in RAW. Hope you like my before and after versions.

Here is one of my fav shots from my most recent shoot. It really shows the power of RAW images! Taken with my Canon T3i w/ the Canon 50mm f/1.8 and edited in Adobe Lightroom. Before:

People, you're all doing it wrong, that's not how you edit.

Started shooting in RAW and it was a life-saver for this picture, which would otherwise have been trashed
