MTB/Cycling community?

more_vert
I was thinking maybe this should be a thing? What's your opinion?
Cycling is a bit expensive as a sport so saving a few pennies here and there on some parts wouldn't be a bad thing IMO

I haven’t logged on to this site in quite sometime. In the past I’ve purchased a lot of “outdoor “ clothing, cooking items, knives etc. I’d love to be able to buy MTB stuff too. But, after logging back in, it seems the Mechanical Keyboards and Audiophile communities are the only ones left. Am I missing something or has this once awesome website now only selling keyboards and headphones?
Mtb clothes and components. However the bike supply has been hit by high demand and low manufacturing
why not?

Sure but can they beat Euro prices? E.g., my local shop is great for parts, repairs, drivetrain, tires. But no racing shoes, >$300 retail, I got em from Germany, $120. Also US shops like Bike Closet, England has Wiggle and smaller shops, France has xxcycle.com (bike porn ?)

In addition/also, please don't forget to support your local bike shops. Prior to the coof, we were loosing almost 2 bikes shops per state per year. Internet sales kill the local bike shop. I'm not telling anyone only buy bike stuff at the LBS, I'm just mentioning we need to support them when we can, as they are the ones supporting our local cycling community and culture. (and no need to get into bike shop pricing argument)

Would only be interested if Drop offers the equivalent of the 4xx/6xx/58x, etc., in terms of cycling gear. But other than that... it's been 3.5 years since this was posted. The outdoor community is also kinda dead with the exception of Durston's gear...

TraviscwvUnfortunately, Drop has decided to move their communities to mech keys and audiophiles. The rest of the communities have been moved to Amazon. What a loss.

I’ll also add, there probably won’t be any deals until supply catches up.
