My first group buy was for the KC64 keyboard by Keycool. Keyboard arrives, is defective (all the keyboards in the entire drop were defective) come to find out, @XiK community leader, lied about the vendor. It wasn't key cool, but NPKC. They just sent out a defective product. The issue is still not resolved. We still DO NOT have a working replacement. The drop ended Sep 15th. 2016. However you can still buy OTHER products from NPKC. I guess Massdrop doesn't care about quality.

xcsasciiSimilar thing happened on the Planck drop I was in. It was the second Planck drop and I'm pretty sure the first one went well. The second was a different story though. They changed the anodization on the bottom which made it look completely different to the pictures, and they change the top plate design to one that their manufacturing process could not produce accurately, this resulted it cutting errors so bad that when Cherry MX keys were installed they would get stuck when pressed. Massdrop gave us two options, send it back for a refund or deal with it (There might have been a 5 or 10 dollar credit for you next order if you kept it, not sure). I understand this is not necessarily Massdrops fault but it really seemed like the customer was the only one that was hurt by this, I don't know that anything really came back to the manufacture. In fact I'm pretty sure they are or already have dropped it again.
